Love that you can take your dog and they have a dog menu. Dessert is amazing. The carrot cake and cheesecake were fantastic. For vegetarian... They have options. The quinoa stuffed bell peppers were really good. The cheese curds with the Carmel sauce was good too.

Lots of cute details that brings this local business to life! It has great food and an open atmosphere. The drinks are great and friendly service, kid friendly too! The restaurant shows the accomplishments that the owner and her pets did in films. There’s a room dedicated to Schmagel, the cat from ‘A man named Otto’ that was my favorite decor. Honestly a wonderful addition to have this unique dining experience in our area!

Was able to take the fur kids out to dinner with us. We all loved it. Dogs had their own menu to order from. Was very happy with the quality & serving size. Dogs dug in so fast I didn't even get a pic first. My wife and I loved our food. great experience.

We were pleasantly surprised by the menu and atmosphere during our visit. They offer quick and easy access off of 54, and we got a table right away during dinner. There seemed to be plenty of space for large parties and a long bar with plenty of seating. We appreciated the dog-friendly environment, and we look forward to our next visit.

My wife and I are always up to trying a new restaurant that is not a chain restaurant. This is a new restaurant, and it didn't disappoint. Upon walking in, we were quickly greeted by one of the owners and the waitress. You will notice that upon entering, the atmosphere/asthetics is really inviting. It is warm and country like, with a large main dining area, smaller dining areas, a large bar and tall ceilings. Outside are nice sitting areas, a nice outdoor bar and a stage for live entertainment. We learned it used to be the Cherokee Golf Course. The restaurant was well organized and very clean. The bathrooms were also very clean. Our waitress was very pleasant and helpful with the menu and questions. We had the crab dip for starters. The nachos were slightly stale, but the dip had overwhelming flavor and contained real carb meat. I had the crab augratin with seasonal vegetables which happened to be baby carrots. I also had a side salad with Italian dressing, which was delicious. The augratin was extremely warm and creamy. It contained a lot of crab meat and was bursting with flavor. The carrots were well cooked, slightly caramelized and had amazing flavor as well. My wife Fettuccini Alfredo with shrimp and crab and a side salad with honey mustard dressing. The honey mustard dressing was very tasty as was the salad. The Alfredo was cooked perfectly. Not aldente and not mushy. The sauce was extremely flavorful as well. The shrimp was cooked perfectly and were also bursting with flavor. We were able to talk with one of the owners for a short time afterwards and had a really nice conversation with her. She said she trains cats and told us some stories. She also mentioned that she also owns other businesses. Some takeaways- This restaurant is a little hidden, but I'm sure it will be successful. The wall behind the bar looked a little out of place. One wall was corregated metal hung sideways. A nice touch would be to continue that behind the bar for a more "rustic" look. The atmosphere was very relaxing and inviting and the food and service was amazing! Great job to the new owners and I wish you success in this venture. We will definitely be back! I visited the area for a wedding the weekend of October 25 and came across this restaurant while searching for nearby dining options. I am very pleased that I did. My server, a young tall dark haired man, was excellent—extremely attentive, and I didn’t have to signal for refills or my check. He was extremely friendly, too! The food was outstanding; I enjoyed the chips with crab dip, which was excellent! The shrimp alfredo along with a nice little salad was also very flavorful and complemented my meal perfectly. I would highly recommend this PAW and PLATE for a quality dining experience. Additionally, on the Friday night of my visit, there was a live band, and the atmosphere was fantastic. It is clear that both owners have invested considerable time and resources to ensure a memorable experience. The bar area is beautiful, and I highly recommend Paw and Plate for a delicious meal in a welcoming environment.
